  Sorry but I don't agree, for one, Gwaine cropped in will look unnatural. He is not a part of the style of promotional picture those characters are in there, with the red background. So the lighting won't match. He'll look paler than the rest. Secondly, I don't see how he's more important than Elyan (who is related to Gwen), or Leon. Just because he's a fan favourite and the girls think he's hot and what not.. so I think we should just wait for Mordred. I feel your pain, though, I am beginning to get very annoyed with Uther's face there! Just try not to focus on it... give it a bit more time. If we get some stills of the characters from Series 5 in their costumes, we'll fill the space with them in there as soon as possible.

  You don't have to be sorry for not agreeing. :) I myself am fine with both options. And by the way, with Photoshop it's pretty easy to make as dark as you want. And since you mentioned Leon, he is definitely a more important character than Gwaine. But there's really no hurry, the background looks great and we can wait until Series 5!

I do want to change the background sometime, but I don't know what picture to use! I don't want it to just have a simple background (like the one with the keys this wiki had before).   Before I was experimenting with backgrounds on here (page ones), but it's hard to find something good! I know the parchment on Merlin Wiki definitely won't suffice!
  It's also a matter of having the page background blend with the wallpaper (or background,background). I was thinking of some sort of 'notebook' theme, where it looks like we're typing on a giant notebook (if you get what I mean), or just some keyholes in the background, or a bit of texture.   First you'll need to go to MediaWiki:Wikia.css. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet- you basically add code into it to "define" an element, which the Wiki will identify. You're pretty much telling the Wiki "This is what I'm going to edit, and this is how I'm going to edit it".
  So the code for the page background is:
  
  .WikiaPageBackground { background-image:url("image url here") !important; } /* Custom image background for the page */]
  
  You need to copy and paste that into the CSS (just at the bottom would be fine, as long as it doesn't obstruct anything else). Upload an image to your Wiki that fits the size of the page, then get the web link for it and insert it where I wrote "insert image url here".
  I also used this extra code for my Wiki due to the style of background: (I put it above WikiaPageBackground)
  
  .WikiaPage, .WikiaAdvertPage { border: none !important; padding-left: 5px !important; padding-right: 5px !important; } /* Removes page borders, stretches the content area to play well with the background */
  
  What this did was remove the edges of the page, so the parchment looked more natural at the edges. You may not want this, unless you're going for some rough edges.
  The hardest bit is, getting the page looking good! The size you need is 1010 x 685. The image has to repeat as you scroll down the page, so make sure it isn't noticeable. Patterns and so on blend well together.
  I hope this made sense! Just check out some other Wikis with custom backgrounds, and go to their MediaWiki:Wikia.css (we all have our own) and you'll be able to copy the link of their background image from it and see what it looks like separated from the page.

But what bothers me is that now that I have added the blog column, the whole right side of the page is much longer than the left side of the page.   Happy Easter! =D I'm on a slow connection so I can't do much... :( On Merlin Wiki I tried making the Uthervs Arthur page but my internat crashed twice in a rown, so I lost my work! :( So eventually I'll get back on a fast connection and be able to edit badges on this wiki, and make duel pages on Merlin Wiki.   That's strange... I think it might be because there was a much larger number of admins in Merlin wiki before the R.A.T team. Althogether, there are 25 admins in that wiki. Alice in Wonderland wiki only had 2 before me.

  Yes... But on Merlin Wiki, there wasn't an active admin on Merlin wiki for 9 months! MrThermomanPreacher adopted it, then later he made Dryuuu and admin. But he and myself argued for him to become a bureaucrat, which resulted in success! Then he made me an admin, before promoting you and several others... Maybe this wiki will take a similar path...
