"Alice" is a song written and performed by Canadian singer and songwriter Avril Lavigne. It can be found on "Almost Alice," the album which features music inspired by the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland (2010). The song was also played in the end's credits of the film.

Music video[]

The music video was shot in 26–27 January 2010 and was directed by Dave Meyers. In the video, Lavigne follows a white rabbit into a forest, trips and falls into a hole located near a large tree. When she wakes, she is dressed in a black dress and stockings that have the pattern of playing card suits. Soon, she goes Mad Hatter's tea party. Besides the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat is also featured in the video. Lavigne soon runs away from the tea party and explores other places in Wonderland, until she finally exits the forest, dressed in the clothes she was before. The video features various scenes from the movie. For example the tea party scene was edited with footage of the Mad Hatter from the film.

Lyrics[]

Trippin out
Spinning around
I'm underground
I fell down
Yeah I fell down

I'm freaking out, where am I now?
Upside down and I can't stop it now
Can't stop me now, oh oh

I,I, I'll get by
I,I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I,I, I won't cry

I found myself in Wonderland
Got back on my feet, again
Is this real?
Is this pretend?
I'll take a stand until the end

I,I, I'll get by
I,I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I,I, I won't cry

I,I, I'll get by
I,I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me
I,I, and I won't cry
